My sweet prince
rest in peace
"...in the arms of the angels may you find some comfort there..."
Your heart was big
You loved your people and did a good job
And those better be big-ass angels, cuz you at 95 pounds, you're no lightweight!
We always felt safe with you
See you in heaven someday, in the mean time hang out with Jake, Kolya and Herc
Ashley would like to say "I love you" one last time, she's sorry she wasn't able to.

Oh Claire, I'm so sad for you. Our animals give us so much and it's so hard to lose them.
Oh Claire. I'm so very sorry. He's just on the other side of the rainbow bridge. OK, I gotta go b/c I'm starting to cry.
Thanks you guys. I think everyone with beloved pets understands how much it sucks when they die. I've cried so much my eyes are dried out. We adopted him 9 years ago from an organization called Animal Outreach. He was maybe 3 to 5 years old at the time. Mellowest dog Ever. I knew he was old and that his time was coming but it happened very quickly and he didn't suffer too much. My son was home from college and we were with him right through till the end. He knew we loved him.
So sorry for your loss, Claire.
Claire -
Claire, Claire.
Hugs.
LGS & Mark - thank you, I appreciate your kind thoughts.
Hey I'm watching the Super Bowl half time show and I have to say Tom Petty looks awful in a full beard. And what's with the guitarist - a white dude with dreads, you know that Never looks good, ew. I do like the music however. I just felt like bein' a bitch.
Ah, honey. Damn it. You must be so sad.
But what a treasure you had.
I'm so sorry Claire. The day you adopted him was a lucky, wonderful day for both of you...
((((((Claire))))))
I'm so, so sorry for your loss. Toby looks like he really belonged in your family. Thanks for sharing him with us so that we can give our respects.

Claire - Glad I wasn't the only one who thought Tom Petty didn't look good at all yesterday. Alas, there's no joy in Beantown today. :(
Jocelyn - yes he was a treasure!
Tess -When I first saw him, I just knew he belonged with us.
Rose -Thank you so much for caring.
Jojo -I actually liked both teams and I was sure the Pats would win. Didn't see Eli being able to spin out of the sack and Then make a fantastic game winning pass.
Ah, football... such a wonderful distraction.
Oh, honey, so sorry to hear that.
Don't worry, he is still around, trust me!
I'm not a pet lover, but I can imagine the sadness you must be feeling, losing such a sweet friend.
xxx
Claire, I am so very sorry. Toby looked sweet beyond words and such a part of your family. That's so hard for you all. Sending hugs your way.
Axe -I keep thinking I see him all around the house.
G -thanks so much. pets really do become family members
....and Toby, if you would be so kind to please sniff Rhonda's butt and let her know that, although I am doing all right, I do miss her so awfully much. And then go get the ball and the stick with her.
So long, Toby. Your Momma is so thankful for all your good love.
(crap. i'm tearing up something fierce here, C)
They are just the best thing ever for our human hearts, are they not?
Gawpo -they are indeed. I'm sure Toby is happily sniffing Rhonda and they are having a blast playing with the ball and stick (especially if involved swimming!).
Aww, goodbye, Toby.
BTW, I knew you'd get all the references in my last post. You big geek. :)
i'm so sorry...
