Ducks Part 2: Pictures!

These pictures belong to the previous post. Mary emailed several pictures she took, so I thought I'd share. Three of the eggs hatched: SUPER CUTE!
Mary's dog Dexter didn't like having a duck in 'his' pool. He got his yard back July 4th.

All's well that ends well now that they are swimming free.

How funny is that dog growling at the duck in his domain? That's a nice pool.

BD -oh yeah, he's single, handsome and I advise girls to run away like their hair's on fire! You are definitely his type too. He does have a steady job, works hard, but he's a tiny bit short in the maturity department. I do have another son, age 20, he's the beefy football player with a kind heart. He's very, very focused on college and football. He's never had a girlfriend (but has lots of friends who are girls). Wouldn't you like to visit Norcal and check these guys out? I have posted their pictures on this blog before.

kris -the nest was super soft, cuz mom plucks her own down out to line it.

rose -((Hi!)) It's nice to 'see' you out and about!

EOH -Poor old Dexter tried mightily to scare mother duck away before she made her nest. She was determined. Once her eggs were laid, Mary kept Dexter away from the nest.

So I shouldn't send you a pic of what was left of the bird that hit the window after the neighborhood cat got done with it?

They're so cute! My parents live on a lake, lot's of ducks. Sadly, even though there is a sign that say's....Please don't feed the ducks, people do, and the ducks wander into the street...
